Inspired by the water tower I decided to head to the lakefront to record water sounds. I made my way across Lincoln via a foot bridge that led me to the second story of a building on the beach. As I was about to descend the stairs I noticed a water fountain that was running on its own.

Found myself alone on a small trail surrounded by trees just north of the water tower. The trail was steep and winding as it headed toward Lincoln Memorial Dr and the lakefront. A single bird could be heard chirping for a mate, but he was probably upset when the only answer he received came from a dog.
